Today, Disney and Pixar announced that Pete Docter’s Soul, Domee Shi’s Turning Red, and Enrico Casarosa’s Luca — all of which ended up premiering on Disney Plus due to the covid-19 pandemic — are all coming to theaters in 2024. Beginning January 12th, Soul will screen along with director Madeline Sharafian’s short Burrow; on February 9th, Turning Red will start screening with Rosana Sullivan’s short Kitbull; and on March 22nd, Luca will begin screening alongside Ralph Eggleston’s For the Birds. Tickets for the “special engagement theatrical runs” go on sale January 2nd, 2024.
