The first performance of the Game Awards just wrapped, featuring the theme song for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — “No Promises to Keep”.
“No Promises to Keep” is the first Final Fantasy VII song to feature lyrics that aren’t barely decipherable Latin. You know what I’m talking about.
But it’s neat to see Final Fantasy VII Rebirth taking inspiration from Final Fantasy games of the past. Seeing Aerith perform this song, I know all the fans of Final Fantasy X2 are pleased.
