Bird flies San Francisco’s coop.
After the e-scooter company announced that it was leaving several cities over their “lack of a robust regulatory framework” last year, now Bird’s pulling its business out of San Francisco because its regulations are too strict:
It’s difficult for us to justify operating in a city where we don’t make money... San Francisco has the most onerous regulations and is the most difficult to operate in of the hundreds of markets we operate in globally.
