It looks like Meta will have to pay $175 million for patent violations.
A judge has decided not to dismiss a jury ruling from last year which declared that Facebook and Instagram Live violated a company called Voxer’s patents around livestreaming. An unnamed Meta spokesperson wouldn’t tell Ars Technica if the company plans to appeal the decision.
