At least, this is what I understand the concept of Damon Lindlof’s new show to be. It’s premiering on Peacock April 20, and stars Betty Gilpin as a nun who has dedicated herself to stopping a trendy new AI that may or may not be destroying the world. The first teaser for the new show manages to nail the vibe every AI startup in Silicon Valley is trying so this could end up being a very prescient piece of TV from the guy who gave us Lost and The Leftovers.
