Floppy disks are still breathing life into Chuck E. Cheese animatronics.

Figuratively speaking, not in a Five Nights at Freddy’s way (I hope). Seen via Buzzfeed News, a Chuck E. Cheese employee showcased a new floppy disk containing the robot animals’ latest song-and-dance routine, in a now-viral TikTok video.

The longevity of this retro tech is admirable, but the company is now finally working towards phasing out animatronics and floppy disks entirely.
