Arnold Schwarzenegger wanted a much bloodier Terminator 2.
During a panel leading up to a recent screening of the Terminator sequel, Schwarzenegger said his rivalry with Sylvester Stallone made him push for a more violent film than we saw in 1991 (via Deadline).
“I’ve got to outdo Stallone. Remember, my whole mission is I’ve got to be number one in killing them.”
He said Cameron’s idea — flipping the first Terminator movie on its head by making Schwarzenegger the good guy — was “brilliant.”
