McDonald’s announces it’s ending self-serve drinks... in nine years.
The fast-food chain is moving to a new “crew pour” system — yes, it has a name — by 2032, reports USA Today. McDonald’s restaurants in both Springfield, Illinois and Orange, California are reportedly part of a pilot to remove self-serve soda stations.
It’s unclear at press time whether you can still request a blend of all the sodas. Pour one out for the McDonald’s frankendrink.
