Caesars reportedly paid “tens of millions” of dollars to the hackers that breached MGM.

The hotel and casino company suffered a cyberattack and paid a ransom weeks before hackers set their sights on MGM, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Additionally, sources tell Bloomberg a hacking group called Scattered Spider was responsible for the Caesars breach, and may also have involvement in the attack that shut down MGM’s slot machines.
