Go read how Bowser’s life is hard after his Nintendo crimes.

Gary Bowser, that is — the man who was caught selling modchips for the Switch among other consoles, spent two years in prison, and will be paying Nintendo back for the rest of his life.

Former Kotaku EIC Patricia Hernandez caught up with him in this story for The Guardian, and it’s a humanizing read. It’s easy to joke about Bowser stealing from Nintendo; it’s harder to hear about his current plight.
