Schools using the Janet Network, which lets researchers share large amounts of data electronically, couldn’t access parts of their network.
Varsity reported internet users at Cambridge received an email from Cambridge’s head of user services, Stuart Rankin, confirming the DDoS attack and claiming it impacted other institutions as well.
