Just Cause game developer Avalanche has unionized.
Only the one-fifth of the company in Sweden will be covered by the two-year collective bargaining agreement, it seems, but that’s a big deal in an industry that’s dealt with quite a bit of worker exploitation. Two other recent changes: a union of 600 Activision QA workers, and Sega of America’s first union contract.
