Nintendo hired a former PlayStation exec to head up AAA third-party games.
Nintendo has hired Gio Corsi, who had a six-year stint at PlayStation, first as the senior director of developer relations and then as head of global second-party games, before leaving in 2019.
GameRant suggests Nintendo may be looking to compete more directly with the third-party catalogs offered by the PlayStation and Xbox platforms with the hire.
