Some details on Bungie’s canceled Payback project and this week’s layoffs.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has a big report about Bungie following the studio’s announcement that it would be cutting 220 jobs. Bungie had been working a project called Payback set in the Destiny universe that “took elements from” games like Warframe and Genshin Impact, but it was canceled two months ago, Schreier reports.
