Flappy Bird’s new owners definitely have nothing to do with the game’s original creator.
The Flappy Bird Foundation posted a long statement to “clear the air,” but much of it was focused on how the foundation acquired the Flappy Bird trademark after Dong Nguyen abandoned the game. Nguyen has already said he is not involved with the revival.
The statement also doesn’t address the crypto concerns surrounding the project.
