8BitDo has a cheaper alternative to clamping smartphone controllers.

Despite releasing a clamping smartphone gaming controller of its own last October, 8BitDo has just announced a smaller alternative, spotted by Retro Dodo. It’s a $9.99 expanding clip designed to grab onto smartphones and hold either the $24.99 8BitDo Micro or $19.99 8BitDo Zero 2 gamepads in place so they can be used as physical controls on the bottom of the screen.
