Apple is helping develop an “interconnect for next-generation AI cluster performance.”

The company is one of three new board members for the Ultra Accelerator Link — or UALink — Consortium.

“UALink shows great promise in addressing connectivity challenges and creating new opportunities for expanding AI capabilities and demands,” Becky Loop, Director of Platform Architecture at Apple, says in a press release.
