PSA: Bambu’s upcoming 3D printer update breaks compatibility with third-party software and PandaTouch screens.
Bambu says it’s significantly enhancing the security of its printers with its optional v01.08.03.00 firmware — but you won’t be able to control the printer directly from other slicers anymore, or even the third-party touchscreen you might have added to your P1.
Bambu tells The Verge it’ll explain the move more next week.
