An AI image of a bear accidentally set off a real-life bear hunt in Russia.
The image was generated with ChatGPT as a prank, but spread online and sparked phone calls to the police until eventually wildlife rangers were sent out after the non-existent bear, Reuters reports. The woman who confessed to creating the image was fined 15,000 roubles ($178).
