Flipboard now fits in your pocket with the release of version 1.7. The new universal app supports both the iPhone and iPad on devices running iOS 4.0 or greater. The new version brings support for the small screen in addition to Cover Stories, a new feature exclusive to the iPhone and iPod touch that grabs a curated selection of articles and images currently being shared with you. Its creators say the feature grows smarter over time and will eventually find its way into the full-sized iPad app.
