Trump’s tariffs are coming for your nerdy hobbies.

We knew that phones, speakers and game consoles were going to be hit by tariffs. Now they’re making it harder and more expensive to get your hands on TTRPGs, retro video games, and vintage cameras too. Lego even announced that it would stop selling individual bricks in the US.

Insta360 confirms it’s announcing a new action camera on August 21st.

Images and specs of Insta360’s next action camera have been leaked over the past few weeks, but the company itself has confirmed that all the details will officially be announced on August 21st at 9AM ET.

A teaser video and images shared by Insta360 obscure renders of the camera behind a translucent sheet of fabric, but its square shape is clearly visible and seems to match the leaked images of the compact Insta360 Go Ultra.

Fujifilm just hiked camera prices by hundreds of dollars and Canon may be next.

Hope you weren’t banking on a particular price for your next camera, because Trump’s new-and-improved tariffs have other plans. My former colleague Chris Welch reports the majority of Fujifilm cameras now cost more, and Canon has signaled higher prices too; Sigma has agreed to absorb the extra 5 percent tariffs that Trump just added to Japan.

Fuji prices could go higher still: PetaPixel says they’re based on 10 percent Japan tariffs, not the new 15 percent. Moment has an updated Fujifilm price list.
