Nothing’s drip-drip of information about its upcoming Ear Stick earbuds continues with a new writeup today in Highsnobiety. Most interesting is the article’s lede image, which confirms an early rumor that the earbuds won’t have the same silicon ear tips as the Ear 1. It makes the Ear Stick look less AirPods Pro, and more AirPods.

An almost worthy successor to the excellent Nest Hello, the new Nest Doorbell wired is faster, smarter, and sleeker and has better video quality. But spotty behavior on 2.4GHz networks lets it down.
Our friend Marques Brownlee ran a “which pocket do you carry your phone in” poll, and almost 600,000 later, “front right” is winning in a shocking landslide. Obviously, not everyone has such big pockets, but for those that do... apparently the official Phone Pocket is the front right. (I’m a front-lefter, personally.) Who knew!

If you were eyeing the Apple Watch Ultra but didn’t like its matte titanium finish and orange action button, well now you can get one polished to a shine thanks to a jeweler based in Arizona.
That shine will cost you: it’s about $1,500, or nearly twice the cost of a dull Apple Watch Ultra. But you’ll likely be the only one at the company retreat with a shiny Ultra, while all those basic bros have the same matte finish one.


After announcing its first smartwatch running the latest version of Google’s wearable operating system last week, 9to5Google is reporting that the software is now out for Fossil Gen 6 watches with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4100 Plus processor. The update reportedly delivers redesigned Alarm, Stopwatch, and Timer apps, among other improvements.
