Stay safe Nvidia.

AMD wants you to know its new GPUs won’t have the same issues as Nvidia’s RTX 4090, which has been hit by reports of melting power cables.

Marketing director Sasa Marinkovic tweeted a picture of the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX’s industry standard dual 8-pin connectors, no Nvidia-style adapter required.

The only thing hotter than Taylor Swift tickets is a Fujifilm X100V.

Fujifilm’s X100V, the fifth iteration of its retro-inspired point-and-shoot digital camera, came out in February, 2020.

Thirty-three months later, demand for this $1,400 (or much more) camera remains so high that the company has apparently stopped accepting orders for it because it just can’t keep up with demand. Hope you weren’t expecting one for a holiday gift this year.

Hey, pass me the Bondi Blue charger.

Earlier this month we wrote about Nomad’s sleek charging brick with a transparent housing, but now 9to5Toys has shown us a see-through charger that’s bursting with color. The Case-Mate Fuel-Brites can pump 30W through a USB-C cable, and are built out of a plastic that would’ve looked right at home on an original iMac.

The chargers are currently $24 on Amazon.

Image of the Case-Mate Fuel-Brite chargers, with transparent blue, gray, yellow, and orange housing.
Update: I still love seeing the electronics in GaN charging bricks.

Just a harmless treasure chest.

Dungeons & Dragons is getting an official Lego set based on designs from fans — and those fans are telling Lego loud and clear that the Mimic deserves consideration. Over two dozen different Mimic designs have been submitted (out of 621 total entries), but I can’t get over how beautifully / terrifyingly Varghoss’s Ultra Mimic here comes to life.
