The FBI reportedly seized the phone of Polymarket’s CEO.

According to The Wall Street Journal:

It wasn’t immediately clear what prompted the FBI’s search of [Shayne] Coplan, the 26-year-old entrepreneur behind one of the most successful prediction markets in history. But Polymarket quickly tied the raid to its track record in the recent presidential election, in which bettors on its platform correctly anticipated that Donald Trump would beat Vice President Kamala Harris.

Bloomberg also reports that Polymarket is being investigated by the DOJ for allegedly letting users in the US place bets on the site.

A big win for unions.

The National Labor Relations Board ruled that captive audience meetings, or meetings employees must attend where the employer expresses how it feels about unionization, are unlawful. The ruling came in a case involving Amazon, which hasn’t been a fan of unions.

You can now use your itch.io URL as your username on Bluesky.

It’s not a bad option if you don’t already own your own custom domain to use. Itch.io spelled out the instructions here, though you’ll need to have spent at least $10 on the platform to be able to do it. Pretty cool!

The Resident Evil 2 remake’s Apple App Store release is officially December 10th, Capcom announced. (Before, it was December 31st.)

Like RE4 and Village, RE2 is free to start, but you’ll need to pay to play the whole game. Handily, you only need to buy it on one device (iPhone 15 Pro and up, or M1-and-up iPad / Mac) to play it on your others.

Amazon has made it easier to sideload books onto Kindles from Macs.

The company recently updated its Send to Kindle for Mac app with support for transferring books and other documents to Kindles with a USB cable. The feature is limited to the Kindle Scribe and “2024-released Kindle devices” but is compatible with Macs running Intel or Apple processors. Previously, Kindle users had to rely on third-party apps like Calibre or Android File Transfer.
