The Redmagic 10 Pro Plus is Nubia’s latest gaming phone and it comes with a massive 7,050mAh battery. There’s also a “liquid metal” cooling system, a built-in fan, and of course, lots of customizable gamer lights. Kind of a spectacle. It’s launching in China first with a global release slated for December.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the $9.6 billion sale, expected to close in 2026, would see Verizon paying $38.50 a share and absorbing “about $10 billion” of Frontier’s debt. 63 percent of Frontier’s stockholders are for the all-cash transaction, while others are opposed, saying the offer is too low.
Frontier owns more than two million fiber connections across 25 states, including some in Texas, California, and Florida that it bought from Verizon in 2016.
The federated Twitter competitor is heating up this week as people flee X — it just crossed 15m users and is currently the top app in the US iOS App Store. CEO Jay Graber was on Decoder earlier this year, talking about Bluesky’s approach to federation, “composable moderation,” and ultimately monetization. It’s a good one!

Although Casio’s first wearable calculators debuted in 1980, its new lineup of calculator watches pay tribute to even older hardware. They’re styled after the Casio Mini, the company’s first personal calculator from 1972, and feature inverted LCD displays plus five years of battery life. They’re available now for $35.95 each in black, ivory, or blue green colorways.
It’s driven me bonkers ever since Google introduced linking to highlighted text in Chrome that I couldn’t do the same in the Safari browser. Now it seems that’s changing.
I spotted it in the most recent macOS 15.2 beta, where it appears when you right-click highlighted text. MacStories’ Federico Viticci noticed it in the iOS 18.2 beta, where you get it by long-pressing.
Our colleagues at New York break down the gleefully corrupt dealmaking already taking place at Trump’s club, with this tremendous detail:
The billionaire X and Tesla owner is around so much he’s even got his own intro music. “I don’t know if you know this, but Trump DJs Mar-a-Lago from his iPad,” says Melissa Rein Lively, another frequent presence at the club these days. “So he has a walk-on song for Elon Musk, which is ‘Space Oddity.’”
David Bowie would hate this, but he’d hate the reality of what’s happening down there even more:
“It’s a dinner club, and you only go when Trump is there. You probably go once a week for four months in a season. You do that for four years, do the math — you’re spending $18,000 a meal to just get in there. It’s the most expensive meal you’re going to have, but is it worth it if your company gets a $2 billion deal from the federal government? It’s the best money you ever spent.”
It’s going to be a long four years.
