Xbox friend requests have returned.
After announcing earlier this year that the feature would be coming back, friend requests are here now, Microsoft says. The company had been using a social media-like “follow” system where you had to both follow each other to become friends.

GeForce Now Founders won’t be subject to Nvidia’s upcoming 100-hour-a-month data cap.
From Nvidia’s FAQ:
No, Founders memberships will still have unlimited playtime hours for life, as long as there is no lapse in their membership.
Also:
Founders can upgrade to Ultimate and return to their prior Founders benefits at any time without penalty, as long as there is no lapse in their payments.

YouTube shrinks its playback speed picker on Android and iOS.
What was once a list is now a slider. According to 9to5Google, YouTube is rolling out a redesigned mobile UX for choosing your preferred playback speed.
I’m old fashioned and watch at normal speed — and no, I don’t want to know how much of my life I’ve wasted on YouTube. But Nilay says the 1.75x option is now harder to get to.

Along with easy setup swapping, it adds Action Trigger to assign actions intended for the Deck’s buttons to dials, even if a plug-in lacks native support.
