Shaun of The Dead is clawing its way back into theaters this fall.

It has been 20 years since Edgar Wright kicked off his (Three Flavours) Cornetto Trilogy with Shaun of the Dead, and to celebrate the film’s legacy, a remastered cut of it is being re-released in US and UK theaters beginning August 29th and September 27th, respectively.

A quip barrage.

If Deadpool & Wolverine isn’t enough to satiate your need for one-liners in a blockbuster movie, Borderlands is here for you. The latest trailer is full of even more Guardians of the Galaxy-style humor, much like the game it’s based on, and you can check it out in theaters on August 9th.

Close enough, welcome back SimAnt!

Inside me there are two video game wolves: one that loves to blow up ants, and one that loves to build their colonies. While the Earth Defense Force series satisfies one, the other has remained hungry until now. Launching November 7th, Empire of Ants is a new, hyper-realistic ant management simulator that has you finding food, fighting enemy insects and generally living your wildest A Bug’s Life fantasies.

The summer scares aren’t over yet.

It’s been a pretty good period for horror with the likes of MaXXXine and Longlegs, and that run looks to continue with Cuckoo, which hits theaters on August 9th.

Joker: Folie À Deux will have its musical day in court.

Joker: Folie à Deux’s first teaser didn’t feature nearly enough singing from either Joaquin Phoenix or Lady Gaga. But the film’s new trailer features a promising snippet of the clown prince humming a tune and seemingly starting a revolution as he makes his way to stand trial in Gotham.

Netflix refuses to let Rebel Moon go quietly.

Ahead of the debut of Rebel Moon — The Director’s Cut debuting this August, Netflix has whipped up a red band trailer that — compared to the film’s multi-hour runtime — feels like exactly the right amount of Zack Snyder you should consume in one sitting.

Deadpool & Wolverine’s final trailer adds Laura to the mix.

Dafne Keen’s performance as Laura in Logan was arguably the best thing about the film, and the character popping up in Deadpool & Wolverine’s latest trailer is probably a sign she’ll be sticking around in the MCU for a while.

An action game with foresight.

Forestrike comes from the same studio behind the excellent indie title Olija, and it allows players to plan out how they approach battle before ever throwing a punch. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait some time to play it — the game launches in 2025.

Facehuggers have never looked so terrifying.

The final trailer for Alien: Romulus is here, and it viscerally shows just how harrowing facehuggers really are as a concept. The new trailer urges you to check it out in IMAX by teasing some grisly close-ups that will be sure to really pop on a 50-foot high screen.

The Fede Alvarez-directed film opens August 16th.

EA Sports FC 25 has tactics on the brain.

Fresh off the Euros and Copa America, EA just properly unveiled its next soccer game, which launches on September 27th. Highlights include: women’s teams in career mode (finally!), an arcade-style 5v5 experience called Rush, and an AI-powered model called “FC IQ,” which introduces a complex layer of tactics to the game.

Wanda Wilson? I haven’t heard that name in years...

Though there isn’t all that much new to see in Deadpool & Wolverine’s latest trailer, it features our best look yet at the film’s live-action takes on what seems to be the Deadpool Kid (a cowboy variant) and Lady Deadpool (a woman named Wanda with a sick-ass ponytail.)
