Blood of Zeus flows again.

For everyone looking forward to the second season of the fantasy series, Netflix released the briefest of teaser trailers. The new episodes will start streaming sometime in 2024.

It’s almost time for Scott Pilgrim to take off.

If you just can’t wait for the premiere of Netflix’s animated adaptation of Scott Pilgrim next week, here’s a little snapshot of the two main characters to hold you over.

Captain Laserhawk’s Adi Shankar on multiverses, AI, and Rayman propaganda

As wild as the world of Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix might seem, it all makes perfect sense in creator Adi Shankar’s mind.

Day 3 of Netflix’s Geeked Week started with yet another tease for the live-action adaptation of beloved animated series Avatar. So far we’ve had lots of images for the series, but today’s poster comes with some excellent news: a teaser trailer is finally dropping tomorrow.

Who can say no to more Michelle Yeoh.

Netflix capped off day 2 of Geeked Week with a poster for The Brothers Sun, a dark action comedy series from Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu. It stars Michelle Yeoh as the mother of a legendary killer (played by Justin Chien) and we’ll be getting a teaser trailer later in the week.

NASA Plus starts streaming tomorrow.

If you’re eager for NASA-produced documentaries and original series or even some good old-fashioned live launch coverage, NASA Plus, which was announced in July, goes live tomorrow, as Space reminds us.

Since it’s NASA, it’s like free ad-supported TV, aka FAST TV, but instead of ads, it’s paid for by your taxes.

...FTST TV? Anyway, here’s a trailer.

Star Trek’s lost Enterprise filming model resurfaces after almost five decades.

An early model of the USS Enterprise used on the original Star Trek TV series has seemingly appeared in a now-removed eBay listing almost 50 years after it went missing.

There’s no confirmation yet if the relic is being reunited with the Roddenberry family, but the seller told Ars Technica that it’s now out of their hands and “with a proper team.”

The Pluto anime really is that good.

I just finished watching it, and as a longtime fan of Naoki Urasawa’s manga — a somber murder-mystery adaptation of a 1960s Astro Boy arc, set in a world where robots are grappling with their own humanity and the aftermath of a war — I wholeheartedly endorse Joshua Rivera’s praise of the recent adaptation. It’s lovely! Maybe the best new thing I’ve seen appear on Netflix all year.

Stranger Things on stage.

We still don’t know when the next season of Stranger Things is coming, but Netflix has at least released some details on the upcoming prequel, The First Shadow. It’s set in 1959 and is billed as an origin story for a number of important Stranger Things elements including Vecna and the Upside Down itself — the twist is that it’s a stage show that opens up in London in December. You can get a taste for it in the teaser below.

Disney Plus should just let us watch ‘Dad Baby.’

And I say that with love. Disney quietly refuses to host the second-season episode, which, as Polygon writes, lightly touches on gender as a concept.

With Bandit pretending to give birth as an entertaining, educational exercise, it sounds like it’s pretty standard Bluey fare. Here’s a YouTube clip from it.

Correction November 6th, 2023, 11:53AM ET: It was Bandit, not Bingo, who pretended to give birth. We regret the error.
