Echo VR fans are taking to the skies to protest Meta’s plan to shut down the game.

On Wednesday, a plane with the banner reading “ZUCK, DONT KILL VR ESPORTS FIGHTFORECHO.COM” will fly over Silicon Valley. The game is set to shut down on August 1st, and Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth has shared more details about decision, but maybe this air appeal will do something to change Meta’s mind.

Apple’s reportedly already working on a more powerful version of its rumored “Reality Pro” headset.

The company’s highly-anticipated mixed-reality headset hasn’t even been announced yet, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says it’s readying a second device equipped with a “more powerful” processor.

Apple’s set to debut its headset at WWDC June, which is rumored to come with next-gen hand-tracking and an external battery. But if you don’t want to spend upwards of $3,000 on the device, Gurman says Apple’s working on a cheaper “Reality One” headset as well.

That’s now over too, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The Resident Evil 4 remake’s free VR mode might be a long ways out.

Work on the mode has “begun development,” according to Capcom, even though we’ve known for months that a PSVR 2-specific VR mode has been planned for the game. Seems like you won’t be able to play the game in VR when it launches on March 24th, but in the meantime, at least you can now play Resident Evil Village in VR.
