I know we all rejoiced when The Big Bang Theory went off the air in 2019 after 12 seasons. But it brings me no joy to inform you that more is coming. The details are scant, but a new show set in the universe was announced at Warner Bros. Discovery’s big HBO Max rebranding event today....bazinga.
Does anyone else have this issue? I swear I skim right over the all important r every time I am discussing these products. My colleague Chris Welch, meanwhile, has another suggestion. He’d like someone to make a Stream or Steam Dock. I’m personally very grateful Steam didn’t think of this when they made their Steam Deck dock.
lo-rain is a very goofy $7.99 app that does one thing, it makes it rain on your dock and other apps. It’s like the most useless Übersicht widget ever. While it’s currently pretty buggy it sounds like the developer is hustling to improve it.

It wasn’t Lore, but someone did take control of Brent Spiner’s Twitter account and started tweeting horrible stuff. As the New York Times’ Mike Isaac noted, traditionally someone of Spiner’s status would have been able to get ahold of customer support and deal with the problem fairly quickly. Instead he is having to appeal to fans via the account of Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas.
In a very Apple event-esque livestream, NASA announced the crew of the Artemis II mission, which will ride the costly and enormous SLS rocket to the Moon and back in 2024. Notably this is the first lunar mission to include a woman, a Black man, and a Canadian. The crew is Mission Specialist Christina Koch, Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen, Pilot Victor Glover, and Commander Reid Wiseman.
The Xbox version of Valheim recently got an update that altered the terrain height to better map to the Steam version of the game. Unfortunately that means some players logged on to find rivers spawned under their homes, or their houses floating, and collapsing, in midair. Fortunately, unlike the real world its should be fun to rebuild.
