Canon is releasing a limited edition version of the viral PowerShot G7 X Mark III.

It’s been 30 years since the first PowerShot camera debuted. To celebrate, Canon is releasing a limited edition version of the PowerShot G7 X Mark III with a graphite-colored top cover and a 30th anniversary logo. But don’t expect the $1,299 camera to be any easier to find than the original when it launches in April 2026.

The PowerShot G7 X Mark III Graphite Kit - PowerShot 30th Anniversary Limited Edition is functionally identical to the original, but with a slightly updated design.
Canon hasn’t shared how many of the cameras it will release, but expect stock to be very limited.

You can reportedly use the Labo VR headset to play 3D Virtual Boy games.

If you’ve still got your Labo kits, you may not need to buy Nintendo’s $100 or $25 Virtual Boy Switch accessories. During an event last week, Nintendo Treehouse staffer Corey Olcsvary told GamesBeat that the Labo VR kit can also be used to play NSO Virtual Boy games, even though Nintendo’s not promoting the backwards compatibility.

Balloon Kid floats onto the Nintendo Switch.

Two new Game Boy titles are being added to the Nintendo Switch Online service to kick off February. Balloon Kid features Alice trying to save her brother Jim by floating through levels using balloons, and Yoshi which is a Tetris/Dr. Mario-like puzzle game where you stack falling Goombas, Bloopers, and Boo Buddies.

Golf comes to Apple Sports.

After adding tennis last June, the free Apple Sports app is introducing golf so fans can keep tabs on “official PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events.” You’ll have access to individual players’ scorecards, hole-by-hole results, and live leaderboards starting with the PGA’s WM Phoenix Open tournament this weekend.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 leak reveals a new design that looks less like AirPods.

Android Headlines has shared renders of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro expected to be announced at the next Samsung Unpacked event. The new design features metal strips on the stems to help distinguish them from Apple’s AirPods, and they both now lie horizontally in their charging cases which carry forward transparent lids.

Sony’s next flagship ANC wireless earbuds may have been leaked by a retailer.

Power Buy has since taken down the listing for the new Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds as spotted by Reddit’s Mr_Snail10, but The Walkman Blog managed to capture some images before it disappeared. The upgrade to 2023’s WF-1000XM5 appear to feature a more rounded pill-shaped design with a charging case that now has a flat top and bottom.
