The abrupt closure of Humble’s publishing division left a number of indie developers in a state of uncertainty. But now a new label headed by former Humble staff, called the Good Games Group, has formed, with the goal of “working with the amazing indie developers we collaborated with at Humble Games, while also allowing us to chart a new course for the future.”

Fortnite’s Halloween event kicks off on October 11th, and it will add Jigsaw to the battle royale lineup. He should feel right at home in a squad with pop stars and Disney characters.
If you’re looking for something spooky to play, the excellent survival horror throwback Crow Country is being ported to the Switch and PS4 on October 16th. It’s shaping up to be a good month for horror game releases with the remakes of Until Dawn and Silent Hill 2 also on the way.
As previously announced, Masahiro Sakurai’s excellent YouTube channel — which has covered everything from organizing classic games to the nitty gritty of game development — is coming to an end. The silver lining is that the Smash Bros. boss is teasing that a “special finale” is in the works.
