The anime powerhouse has done some excellent collaborations lately — including Star Wars: Visions and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners — and the latest is a launch trailer for the sci-fi soccer game Omega Strikers.
I loved Omega when I played it last month, but the 90-second-long anime clip takes things to a new level of intensity. You can check it out below, while the game is launching on the Switch, PC, and mobile on April 27th.
The Call of Duty series is moving to a surprising new platform: your living room table. Our friends at Polygon have the early news on a board game adaptation of the series, which is headed to Kickstarter later this year and will attempt to capture the essence of a first-person shooter. There aren’t a lot of details yet, but there will be co-op play.

Because a lot came out this week. There’s Nintendo’s slick remake of the first two Advance Wars games, Peacock’s wild AI show Mrs. Davis, the soothing second episode of Coffee Talk, Apple’s surprisingly tense wine-tasting drama Drops of God, and the finale of season 3 of the Mandalorian.
And if you’re willing to brave a crowd? Ari Aster’s latest film Beau is Afraid is in theaters now.
A story about parallel worlds featuring cool martial arts and a cast that includes Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu? No, I’m not talking about that movie that dominated the Oscars, but American Born Chinese, a new series coming to Disney Plus. It starts streaming on May 24th.
The next game from Tetris Effect developer Enhance now has a release date of May 16th. More important is this ridiculous new trailer that pokes fun at some classic PlayStation commercials.
