    Escape reality this weekend.

The big launch this week is Sony’s latest VR headset, which means new (and updated) VR games like No Man’s Sky, Gran Turismo 7, and Horizon Call of the Mountain.

Over in non-virtual reality, Cocaine Bear is in theaters, Glass Onion has director’s commentary, and if you just can’t wait for the next Super Mario game, you could always take a trip to the very video game-like Super Nintendo Land, designed in part by none other than Shigeru Miyamoto.

And for Apple Arcade subscribers, the excellent real-time narrative Lifeline is now available.

Production designer Maya Sigel talks about creating an optimistic version of 1950s sci-fi, with cute bots and lots of superfluous gadgets.

    Pixels on the pitch.

When AC Milan take to the field this weekend, the squad will be looking a little 8-bit. The club just unveiled its latest kits, which keep the iconic black-and-red stripes, but render them in pixel art. It’s a striking design — and would feel right at home on certain runways.

    One last trailer.

The “final” Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer will debut in around two weeks — Nintendo says it’ll be available to watch on March 9th at 5PM ET. Don’t expect any other surprises, though, as there will be “no game information.” The movie finally hits theaters on April 7th. While you wait, here’s an interview with Mario creator (and movie producer) Shigeru Miyamoto about building theme parks.

    Gotta watch it all.

Next week there will be 20 minutes of news about Pokémon, with a livestream that just so happens to land on Pokémon day (February 27th). There’s no word on what to expect, but I’m desperate for an update on Pokémon Sleep.
