I’m a little disoriented from the augmented reality Mario Kart ride at Super Nintendo World, but unfortunately I can’t catch my breath in this big ol’ chair that I spotted in Bowser’s lair, since it’s just a prop. Not sure what’s up with that Peach photo, though.
Sure you can take photos with Mario and Peach at Super Nintendo World, but no character is more relatable than this precarious stack of goombas. Hang in there fellas.
The first US edition of Super Nintendo Land opens at Universal Studios Hollywood tomorrow, but I’m here a little early getting a sneak peek. Expect to read plenty more about the park, as well as Nintendo itself, on The Verge in the coming days.

Did you know that Apple signed a major deal to stream MLS games for the next decade?
