We still have to wait a few days for the first trailer of the Super Mario Bros. Movie, which will finally be revealed on October 6th (and will hopefully include Chris Pratt’s Mario voice). But before then, Nintendo has released what appears to be the first real image from the film, which is being created in collaboration with Minions studio Illumination Entertainment. The image shows off Captain Toad, a dense version of the Mushroom Kingdom, and Mario sporting some very realistic-looking overalls.

Kid Cudi’s visual album Entergalactic is on Netflix, as is the dreamy roguelike Desta: The Memories Between. And if you have an Apple Arcade subscription, the service just got the stunning adventure Gris (pictured below) which originally launched in 2018. Also: maybe don’t watch Blonde.

The lead up to the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been full of new creature reveals, and the latest is a weird little guy called Wiglett. It looks like Diglett on a beach holiday, and according to the developers, “it’s still unclear what the rest of its body hidden in the sand is like or how long it might be.” No thank you.
