Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima seems to have a few projects in the works, including Death Stranding 2 and a mystery game starring Elle Fanning. Or maybe those are the same thing; it’s hard to tell with Kojima. But in an interview with The Guardian, he said a few intriguing things about an upcoming project without giving much away: “It’s almost like a new medium. If this succeeds, it will turn things around — not just in the game industry, but in the movie industry as well.”

Animated Star Wars spinoff Tales of the Jedi starts streaming tomorrow, and it will include a welcome surprise: the return of Yaddle. The character (who is the same species as Yoda and Grogu) will be voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard, who calls the role a “dream come true.”

A video about ghosts shouldn’t be this cute. But the latest clip from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet reveals a new ghost-type creature that’s a furry dog with a candle on its head. It loves to play fetch and seems more cuddly than spooky, but I’m not complaining.

And the entertainment releases, let’s say, vary in quality. On the good side, there’s Netflix’s whimsical The School for Good and Evil, a sequel to cult classic A Plague Tale, Marvel’s take on Hearthstone, some classic RPGs on the Switch, and a very fun Halloween addition to Fortnite. But we also have a handful of high-profile disappointments: Gotham Knights, Black Adam, Scorn, and Amazon’s adaptation of The Peripheral.

Even if you don’t play Genshin Impact, this video is worth a watch for the vibes alone. It’s just two minutes of gorgeous anime scenery. Exactly what we all need on a Friday morning.

The latest crossover between fashion and gaming will take place in Minecraft. Developer Mojang and fashion house Burberry announced a collaboration with the game today that will bridge “the digital and physical worlds,” which is a fancy way of saying there will be in-game DLC and physical items to purchase. Burberry, which previously designed skins for Honor of Kings, will be announcing actual details on the partnership on November 1st.

In case you missed it yesterday, Konami detailed a whole bunch of Silent Hill projects: there’s a movie based on Silent Hill 2, a remake of Silent Hill 2, an interactive series called Silent Hill: Ascension, and a brand-new story called Silent Hill F. That’s a lot of volumetric fog.
