This week the streaming services are going all in on Halloween, with plenty of spooky things to watch: Netflix has Mr. Harrigan’s Phone and The Midnight Club, Hulu has a Hellraiser reboot, and Disney Plus has Werewolf by Night. Meanwhile in the world of video games, Overwatch 2 finally launched (despite some early problems) and No Man’s Sky made its belated debut on the Nintendo Switch. Or you could just re-watch the Super Mario Bros. movie trailer.

My colleague Ash Parrish recently spent some time with the Arkham-style action game Gotham Knights, and it seems fun, if a bit overwhelming. You can get a sense of that with the just-released launch trailer. It opens with a funeral, and then shows off the cast of heroes that you’ll be controlling, though Nightwing is definitely... missing something. Despite the trailer’s title, the game doesn’t launch until October 21st, so there’s still a few weeks to wait.

In just over an hour one of the world’s great mysteries will finally be revealed: that’s right, the Super Mario Bros. movie trailer is almost here, so we can hear what Chris Pratt actually sounds like. It goes live at 4:05PM ET.
Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima keeps dropping hints for what is, presumably, his next game. It started with cryptic teasers asking “who am I?” on top of a photo of a person’s silhouette. Now, to clear things up, he says that “The answer to ‘WHO’ at TGS will be in the next ‘WHERE.’” Sure, now I get it. Maybe I’ll have to listen to his podcast to figure it out.
