Remember that Virtua Fighter project teased during the Game Awards last year? Well, during CES 2024, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the studio behind the Yakuza franchise, debuted what it called a “pre-development concept video” highlighting what the fighting game could look like from a developer mostly known for action RPGs. The video’s description stressed that the footage was conceptual and doesn’t reflect what the actual game might look like whenever it’s released.
