Parasite actor Lee Sun-kyun has died at 48.

Lee Sun-kyun, the South Korean actor whose performance as member of the privileged elite in Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite won him a Screen Actors Guild Award, has died by suicide at the age of 48. Per the Associated Press, Lee was found dead in his car by Seoul police on Wednesday morning after the authorities had been alerted about his disappearance.

But now that director Christopher Landon has also exited the project, it feels like it might not be long until we’re hearing about the project being put on ice for some time.
