DPReview’s YouTube hosts already have a new home.

There’s no denying that the loss of DPReview is a major blow for the photography world. Bad move, Amazon. The site has been a tremendous resource with substantive reviews, great tools for comparing cameras, and a vibrant forum community.

But there is at least a bit of good news coming out of this: Chris Niccolls and Jordan Drake, the faces of DPReview’s YouTube channel, are moving over to PetaPixel in May. Like some of you, I’ve been watching these two for years and am glad they’ll get to keep doing what they do so well.

    FuboTV is now just Fubo.

The sports-centric live TV streaming service FuboTV is today shortening its name to Fubo. It’s also launching an ad campaign featuring Kevin Garnett and Mark Sanchez centered around the question “what if sports fans built a streaming service?”

Fubo offered features like multiview long before YouTube TV, but don’t expect to save any money on a subscription compared to other services: its cheapest plan is $74.99 per month.

YouTube TV just gave all customers access to its new multiview feature.

YouTube TV is making its new multiview feature available to all customers sooner than expected. The streaming TV service originally planned to start with an “early access” group and expand from there, but the March Madness fervor has proven overwhelming. People want their basketballs games. All the games at once.

I don’t think this will make up for the price hike it just announced — people are very upset about YouTube TV crossing beyond $70 — but it’s a nice gesture.

The tradeoff for instant gratification is that you’ll probably deal with bugs and some known issues.

How to choose between the AirPods Pro and Beats Fit Pro

Apple’s second-gen AirPods Pro outperform the Beats in sound quality and noise cancellation, but the Beats Fit Pro have some strengths of their own — especially if you’ve got an Android phone.

Apple Music Classical has one very modern requirement.

Today we learned that Apple Music Classical is coming at the end of March. It’s going to dive much deeper into the genre than mainstream music services through the inclusion of detailed metadata, powerful search, and exclusive tracks.

Apple has since confirmed to me that there won’t be an iPad version of the Apple Music Classical app. More annoyingly, it won’t support offline downloads at launch; you’ll need a data connection at all times to stream.
