This is such a hack and a workaround but I’m thrilled it exists.
The new Apple Watch models released this year don’t look any different from their predecessors, but they do come with some nice upgrades under the hood. Namely, a new chip and a couple of new abilities that come along with it. Do you need to upgrade? Nah, especially if you have a watch from last year. The latest update to Widgetsmith, the extremely versatile homescreen customization tool, is out today. Along with lots of new interactive features, it brings a CoverFlow-style music widget to the iPhone’s homescreen that lets you swipe through album art and hit play without ever opening the Music app. 2007 never looked so good in 2023.
