I hadn’t heard about Lu Heng before today, and I doubt you had either. But he apparently owns 10 million African IP addresses, which he leases out for profit, creating a financial asset out of what was intended to be basic infrastructure. Classy!

Android Police spotted that just opening the file send menu is enough to disconnect your phone from Wi-Fi following the new Quick Share update that lets Pixel 10 users send files to iPhones over AirDrop. Switching focus to another app is enough to reconnect though, so this bug feels harmless enough.
Last month Musk promised there would be “500 or more” of the (supervised) Robotaxis in Texas by the end of the year. Today he told an X user the fleet should “roughly double next month.” But given best estimates put the current number of cars around 30, double that is... nowhere near 500.
