As spotted by @DuaneStorey on X, the “WP Engine Tracker” says more than 16,000 sites stopped using WP Engine since late September, which is when WordPress.com parent company Automattic started its public campaign against the third-party hosting service.
Meanwhile, Automattic’s response to WP Engine’s lawsuit claimed the company “failed to plausibly allege specific financial harm.”
During a Q3 earnings call on Thursday, Zaslav said the company’s games business is “underperforming its potential.” He also acknowledged that “inconsistency also remains an issue” at WBD’s film studio, “reinforced recently by the disappointing results of Joker 2.”
The service now has 110.5 million subscribers, marking “the strongest quarterly gain since the platform’s launch,” according to Warner Bros. Discovery’s Q3 earnings release.
Max launched in Latin America and Europe earlier this year and will roll out in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan later this month.

At 18 episodes, the League of Legends spinoff has become the most expensive animated series ever produced, Variety reports. Despite the heavy spending and the earlier-than-expected series finale, Riot co-founder Marc Merrill told Variety that the company’s “ambitions in entertainment haven’t changed:”
