The identity and access management company says a hacker viewed files uploaded to its support system by “certain Okta customers.”
Okta says hackers gained access to its support using a stolen credential. However, the company notes that its authentication service was unaffected and is still “fully operational.”
The group of stars, which also includes Emma Stone, Ben Affleck, and Tyler Perry, met with the leaders of SAG-AFTRA this week, proposing the removal of the $1 million cap on membership dues, Deadline reports.
Clooney tells Deadline that would result in over $50 million paid to the union every year, which could go toward improving health care benefits:
A lot of the top earners want to be part of the solution. We’ve offered to remove the cap on dues, which would bring over $50 million to the union annually. Well over $150 million over the next three years.
The streamer might’ve just announced another price increase for its Basic and Premium plans, but there is a sliver of good news for those subscribed to its $6.99 tier. Netflix announced that it will start letting users on the plan download TV shows and movies starting next month.
