Bandcamp United has filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge against Songtradr, the company that purchased Bandcamp from Epic Games, according to a report from 404 Media.
The union alleges that Songtradr refused to hire employees because they “joined or supported a labor organization and in order to discourage union activities or membership,” 404 Media reports. Last month, Songtradr confirmed that only 50 percent of Bandcamp workers were given offers to join Songtradr, with the rest getting laid off.
LinkedIn’s new AI-powered job coach can tell Premium users whether they’d be a good fit for a particular role, what skills they need to stand out, as well as answer questions about the company that’s hiring.
Outside of job-hunting, LinkedIn’s AI can also provide summaries and insights about the posts in subscribers’ feeds. This all adds to the growing number of AI-enhanced tools on LinkedIn and is rolling out to a select group of Premium subscribers to start.
That’s the question the Supreme Court will weigh in on during a hearing on Tuesday, where it’ll decide whether it’s a violation of the First Amendment for public officials to block critics online.
The court will hear arguments from two cases: one in which a Michigan city manager was sued for blocking a critic from his Facebook page, and another case where school board members blocked parents on Facebook and X.
This time, online play for Assassin’s Creed 2 on Xbox 360, along with Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Ghost Recon Future Soldier on PC, is on the chopping block.
Starting on January 25th, 2024, you’ll no longer be able to access multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts, or access online features within these games. Ubisoft is decommissioning online services for 10 games in total.
