If you’re looking for a new board game, Polygon has some awesome suggestions.

Our friends at Polygon have a great list of board game recommendations. One suggestion, Blood on the Clocktower, is an incredible social deduction game. And Just One is maybe the best-ever (and easiest-to-explain!) game for large family gatherings.

This might be one of the coolest Lego collaborations yet.

A Polish website appears to have leaked a listing for a Lego Polaroid camera, as reported by Jay’s Brick Blog.

Based the photos and the (machine-translated) description of the listing, it doesn’t seem like the camera can take real photos, but it apparently can spit out Lego-ified photos if you load them up.

Here’s some photos from the listing.

Someday, I’ll be able to easily visit my parents again in Starfield.

In a post on Reddit, Bethesda says it’s going to add city maps to Starfield. I could really use one for New Atlantis to help me find my in-game parents.

The company says it’s “hard at work” on features like city maps, mod support, and “all new ways of traveling.” The company expects to roll out updates roughly every six weeks.

Meta wants to “extend” its fact-checking program for Threads in 2024.

Threads currently matches the fact-check ratings from Facebook and Instagram, but “our goal is for fact-checking partners to have the ability to review and rate misinformation on the app,” Instagram head Adam Mosseri said in a post on Threads.

Improving fact-checking tools could make Threads a more attractive place for publishers. (The forthcoming API might help, too.)

The LCS has a new commissioner — and it’s back to streaming on weekends.

The top League of Legends esports circuit in North America will now be led by Mark “MarkZ” Zimmerman, Riot Games announced on Tuesday. Zimmerman is perhaps best known as in his role as an on-air personality for the league’s streams.

The schedule change, by the way, is much-needed; last season, games aired during the week, which meant I missed most of them.

The top free iPhone game in 2023 is... Monopoly Go.

Yes, really, according to Apple’s list of the top apps and games in 2023 (in the US). I shouldn’t be surprised; Monopoly Go came out in April but has already earned more than $1 billion in revenue. It even got more downloads than Roblox, which took second place!

You can see Apple’s full list on its website.

    RIP E3.

Even though I wrote earlier this year that E3 wouldn’t be coming back, I wanted to be wrong. I had hoped that E3 would somehow return to the grand show I loved following as a kid, but that’s not going to be the case. Tough day for a tough year in the video game industry.

    E3 isn’t coming back

Sports Illustrated’s CEO has been fired.

Two weeks after Futurism’s report about how the publication appeared to be publishing articles from fake writers with AI-created profile pictures, now-former CEO Ross Levinsohn is out.
