Google Workspace users will be able to record how to pronounce their name.

When the feature has rolled out (and if you’re on a compatible Workspace tier), you might see a mic button next to your name or play button next to someone else’s name on their profile card, as shown in Google’s blog post.

Messenger now lets you edit messages.

Tap and hold on a message to access the edit menu. You have up to 15 minutes to edit a message. Pretty handy!

Meta announced the feature last week at the same time it shared details about encrypted chats being turned on by default in Messenger. I missed the edit news at the time, but Meta posted about the edit feature on Monday from its Messenger broadcast channel.

I’m now expecting a Lost resurgence in 2024.

Disney is licensing a bunch of its shows to Netflix, including This Is Us, Prison Break, and Lost, Deadline reports. I implore you all to watch Lost again when it hits Netflix on July 1st, 2024, so that you can agree with me that the finale ruled.

As part of the deal, Grey’s Anatomy, which has been a hit on Netflix, will also be available on Hulu for the first time. I bet it will be a big deal on the Disney Plus / Hulu one-app experience.

Epic Games has been prepping for Fortnite’s recent launches for six years.

Donald Mustard, who used to head up Fortnite’s story, shared a six-year-old sketch of how the team at Epic Games imagined Fortnite could evolve from a battle royale hit into a series of different experiences connected by a central “hub.” Following the recent avalanche of launches for the Lego, racing, and music modes, it’s remarkable how close the game has actually come to the vision in the sketch.

Also, I saw this weekend that the company is working on support for instrument controllers for Fortnite Festival, so Fortnite may become even more like Rock Band someday.

VR studio Tender Claws and the Tender Claws Human Union have reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement, and it’s “one of the first union contracts for video game developers in the US,” according to a press release. YouTube Premium is getting more expensive for people who have legacy plans.

Google is telling users who pay less for Premium because they once had Google Play Music or YouTube Red that they’ll owe the recently-instated $13.99 per month fee in January, 9to5Google reports.

Google had already said that it was going to give legacy subscribers a grace period before bumping them up to the higher fee, but that period is now coming to an end.
