Australian telecommunications company Optus hit by a huge outage.
The outage has affected millions, according to Reuters. Optus’ help account on X (formerly Twitter) acknowledged an “issue” at 2:47PM ET, and it is still ongoing.

There’s another Playdate Update tomorrow.
It’s scheduled for November 8th at 12PM ET. It will be 12 minutes long and feature games coming this year and in 2024, according to a press email.
The email cautions that “there will be no new hardware information during the show,” however, so it sounds like we’ll have to keep waiting for release information for the Playdate stereo dock.

Kevin Afghani, the new voice of Mario, is also be the voice of Wario in the new WarioWare game.
He basically said it on X on Saturday, and Polygon reports that Nintendo has confirmed the new Wario casting in the just-launched WarioWare: Move It!.
I haven’t played Move It! myself, but I thought Afghani did a great job as Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
