1Password 8 is getting a bunch of welcome new features soon.

Including the ability to reorder fields for your 1Password entries! 1Password says this is a “highly requested feature,” and it’s one I didn’t know that (desperately) I wanted until now.

The app is also getting things like PIN unlock on mobile, improved Face ID support, and more. You can read the full list of what’s coming on 1Password’s website.

More mudslinging in Sony and Microsoft’s Call of Duty spat.

Frank Shaw, Microsoft’s head of corporate communications, is pushing back against something he’s hearing about Sony’s conversations with the EU. This follows Reuters’ report that PlayStation boss Jim Ryan met with the EU’s Margrethe Vestager this week, but the article doesn’t say what they specifically discussed.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer is still confident the deal will go through. But I have a feeling there’s still more juicy drama ahead.

Phil Spencer is confident that Microsoft’s beleaguered Activision Blizzard acquisition will go through.

In an extensive new interview with IGN, the CEO of Microsoft Gaming said he’s “more confident now than I was a year ago” about the $68.7 billion deal. That might come as a surprise given the FTC’s lawsuit to try and block the deal and scrutiny by regulators in the UK and the EU, but “my confidence remains high,” Spencer said.

Apple reportedly halted work on a custom-designed Wi-Fi chip for iPhones.

That’s according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also says the iPhone 15 will support Wi-Fi 6E. (That’s not too surprising, given the newest iPad Pros, Mac Minis, and MacBook Pros support Wi-Fi 6E, too.)

However, Apple is still working on its own combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
