The first game from Big Mode, the popular YouTuber’s new indie publishing company, is Animal Well, from developer Billy Basso. Big Mode describes the game as a “dense, atmospheric, puzzle box world with multiple layers of secrets,” and it’s also filled with animals; in a video, Dunkey says Animal Well will “delight you with some of the coolest animal interactions I’ve ever seen in a game.”

The annual weeklong speedrunning event for charity has officially kicked off on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel. This year’s event promises to be a good one — I wrote some few runs I’m excited for here. But it will also be a little bittersweet, given it’s the last event for GDQ founder Mike Uyama, who spoke with my colleague Ash Parrish about his departure.
